Saw a listing of this new place on Swiggy and the menu was interesting. So thought of ordering something.
Balaji Special Idli Platter: It was supposed to come with Chutney and sambhar but they probably forgot to add sambhar. The idlis were of 5 types. Mini mulgapodi idli, plain idli, kanchipuram idli, and idlis in red and yellow masala which was probably srilankan style and chettinad. The taste of the idlis was good with nice and flavorful masalas. Plain idli was a delight as it was soft and tasty. Kanchipuram idli was a bit hard at the bottom and taste was not as good as the one from Idli house. 4/5 on taste.
Appam With Vegetable Stew: Good appram with a decent vegetable stew. 3.5/5 on taste.
Appam With Soya Potato Curry Masala: Very good curry and went well with the appam. 4/5 on taste.
Malabhari Paratha With Veg Kurma: Veg kurma was decent but the paratha was thin, tasteless and bad. 3/5 on taste.
Appam With Paneer Ghasi: Another good dish. 4/5 on taste.
Kancheepuram Ghee Roast Dosa; A decent dosa with decent flavors. 3.5/5 on taste.
Appam With Vegetable Chettinadu Masala: Good veg chittinad.
Balaji Special Uttapam Platter: Variety of uttapam like capsicum, potato, onion etc. Went well with the sambhar and chutney.
Appam With Malabar Curry: excellent malabar curry. 4/5 on taste.
Malabhar Paratha With Kerala Mallipuram Gravy: A nice green colored gravy with vegetables in it. Overall the taste was good. 4/5 on taste.
