My first experience with Copper Chimney in Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel was bad. But during the COVID-19 lockdown, I saw a listing of this restaurant located in Worli with some good options and thought of ordering something for me and my friends.

The best thing about the meal boxes was the packaging. It was in thick cardboard boxes with a nicely organized container of the food. Full marks on this point.

Vegetarian Platter Meal Box: It had paneer masala, mushrooms dish, laccha paratha, Gulab jamun, and salad. The paneer masala was good but not among the good ones I have had. The mushroom dish had full-size mushrooms in nice masala. Rice and dal makhani were well cooked and good in flavour. The Gulab jamun was ordinary and more like artificially made gulab jamun like Gits ones. Overall, the meal box was good but not great. The quantity was good enough for 2 moderate eaters. 3.5/5 on taste.

Chicken Platter Meal Box: It had great reshmi chicken tikka which was perfectly cooked and tasted great with the chutney. The chicken masala was good in taste, but the quantity was more than what can be had with only 1 roti. They are charging more than 500 Rs for each box and if they give only 1 roti and it is a shame. Also, I had ordered naan, but they delivered a laccha paratha. Overall, the meal box was good to taste. The quantity was good enough for two moderate eaters. 4/5 on taste.

Chicken Biryani Meal Box: It also had reshmi chicken tikka. The biryani was great in flavors and raita was a nice addition. The masala in the biryani and chicken were a nice match with perfect flavours and cooking. 4.5/5 on taste.

Chicken Rahra Solo: I got this from Copper Chimney in Bandra. The swiggy page of the dish said that it comes with either rice or 2 Indian bread, but even during checkout, I was not given the option. After spending 15 mins with Swiggy customer care the restaurant finally agreed to give Roti which they were otherwise refusing. The dish was good in taste with a nice balance of spicy flavor and tender chicken. The laccha paratha which came along was decent and the taste was not great. Overall good flavored dish. 4/5 on taste.

Achari Chicken Tikka Paratha: The paratha came along with dal makhani (other option was choley), salad, and raita. The description said it had Stuffed tandoori paratha brushed with chaat masala butter, served with chowk ke chole or dhaba black dal, dahi chutney, and chatpata kachumber serves 1 paratha per portion. The paratha was well cooked, soft, and had enough stuffing of the chicken (not the most I have seen). The taste was very good with sprinkled sauf and mustard on top. The dahi chutney was adding a nice flavor to the dish. The dhaba black dal was excellent in flavors and one of the best I have had with a creamy texture and great flavors. Overall a great dish. 4.5/5 on taste.

Masala Paneer Bhurji Naan: Everything was same as above except the naan which was filled with paneer bhurji. The taste was good. 4/5 on taste.

Bhatti Murgh Tikka Roll: The chicken was looking undercooked. The overall flavor of the roll was good. 4/5 on taste.

Overall wonderful experience with this restaurant and I would definitely like to order more items in the future.
