I have been to this restaurant many times from my childhood and I made a visit recently with my family.

The place is small with tables very close to each other and uncomfortable seats. The place is super noisy from both customers, staff, and noise from utensils inside the kitchen. This was one of the noisiest restaurants I have ever been to.

It is famous for its thali so we ordered that along with other things.

Special Thali: It had alu methi, paneer masala, and veg dish. All the dishes were good in taste but nothing extraordinary. The chapati was soft and well made. Dal tadka was decent in flavors, similar to Rajasthani or Gujarati daal rather than the north Indian dal tadka. Pulav was horrible with hardly any taste. Gulab jamun was good in taste and soft in the consistency. Chaas was thick and creamy and among the good ones I have had. Overall the thali was good in taste. For the cost of Rs. 250 is decent in value. 3.5/5 on taste.

Veg Kolhapuri: It was one of the worst dishes I have ever tried. The dish had only flavor of tomato and nothing else. It was pathetic. 1/5 on taste.

Tandoori roti: It was hard and bad in flavors. Again, one of the worst tandoori rotis I have had. 1/5 on taste.

Lassi: It was thick and creamy with aa lot of malai on the top. The flavor of the lassi was decent and nothing great. I recently had lassi from Guru kripa in Sion and this one was not even comparable to the Guru kripa lassi. The cost was Rs. 55. 3.5/5 on taste.

At the end I wanted to pay the bill by card but they do not even accept those. Overall the experience was decent at best and I would not want to visit this overrated place again.
