Many years back I had seen a TV show on some travel channel which had shown Chicago style deep dish pizza. Since then I wanted to try out one but never found any such restaurant in Mumbai offering such pizza. Then one day I saw a photo on Facebook which had a picture of such pizza and it said Light House Cafe in Mumbai. I decided to go to this place at that time but I had a look at the reviews and I was sure that I will need more people to eat such pizza. So I took 2 of my friends along with me. I ordered Meat Lovers Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza, but the staff said that any deep dish pizza takes 45-60 mins to make. So to pass the time we ordered Cheesy Gherkins Balls and Cheesy Fries.

Meat Lovers Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza: The pizza was huge in size. Each piece of it was like a small size pizza itself. I could only have 2 pieces of it empty stomach. Bread was perfectly cooked and was very tasty. Sauce along with cheese tasted great. Sauce and cheese had so much overpowering flavor that I was not able to taste any of the chicken. 3 of us could only finish 5 pieces out of 8, so I asked the staff to pack up the rest 3 slices which they packed in separate aluminum foil boxes for each slice. 4.5/5 on taste. Recommended but only with at least 4 people to eat.

Cheesy Gherkins Balls: Balls were a bit on the harder side but tasty. More than the cheese I felt like it was paneer flavor. The taste was good. 4/5 on taste.

Cheesy Fries: It came with cheese on top and mayo with some hot sauce on side of it. Fries tasted good with the cheese but without that, it gave a bit oily flavor. 3/5 on taste. The staff was very friendly and told us stories of people trying to eat this Chicago style pizza for their challenge. Only 1 out of 200 have won the challenge and it was a Punjabi guy from Delhi. They also helped us get the pizza boxes in the paper covers and even otherwise very nice. Overall a great experience with this restaurant and would definitely try out more items from here in the future. Rating: 4/5 on taste.

Chicken Bangkok Chopper Rice: This order was at my workplace. The dish was hot and very good in taste with chunks of chicken and excellent tasting gravy with rice. 4.5/5 on taste.

Chicken Oriental Noodles: Excellent flavored noodles. This was one of the best-flavored noodles I have had. Very nice flavors with thin noodles, tender chicken, and vegetables. The taste was like Hakka noodles of good street Chinese restaurants (it is a compliment). 4.5/5 on taste.

Veg Alfredo Pasta: In simple words, it was penne in mildly sweet basundi with herbs. That was the taste. The overall taste was good and unique. It was unlike anything I have had. The sauce was liquidy and had settled down. But the overall taste was great. 4.5/5 on taste.

LHC Chicken Nasi Goreng: It had a nice fried egg on top which added a nice flavor along with the chicken pieces. The overall flavor of the nasi goreng was good but not among the best ones I have had. 4/5 on taste.

Butter Chicken Deep Dish Pizza: It was a very good pizza as expected with full of creamy butter chicken sauce and the chicken. 2 pieces are enough to fill a moderate eater. 5/5 on taste.
