I wanted to try out this pizza place for many years. And the best way to do it was Zomato Gold. I went there with another friend of mine and as both of us are not heavy eaters, I ordered only 2 items. One was II Padrino Pizza and another was Polpette Picante Pasta. The menu did not have many chicken items and had stuff which had pork.

II Padrino Pizza: As per the description it has Grilled chicken, mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, chargrilled vegetables, tomato and pesto base. The base was thin but not like thin crust pizzas. It was just the way it should be. Grilled chicken was only the meat and did not have the charred or the grilled part but I am not complaining. Vegetables like bell peppers and zucchini along with tomatoes. Cheese along with all these tasted amazing. If I have to describe this pizza I would call it a juicy pizza. Reason being the vegetables, oils, and cheese making it very semi-fluid like to eat and I loved it. Size of the pizza was 12 inches but both of us eating it did not feel full, and that’s a good thing as most of the pizzas have bread which makes them filling. 4.5/5 on taste. Recommended. Cost of Rs. 595 is expensive but worth it.

Polpette Picante Pasta: It is Chef’s Recommended pizza. The description says it has warm spicy baked penne pasta with chicken meatballs, chicken premix, creamy béchamel, fresh red chilies, spicy jalapenos, topped with mozzarella and garnished with crispy rocket, nutty shaved emilgrana, and fresh basil leaves. Meatballs were typical in taste like chicken seekh and penne was bland in taste by itself. But when taken a bite full of cheese along with it, it tasted great. The dish was topped with radish leaves according to me, which I can say by its taste and look. But the description said it had basil leaves. I don’t know if they were not available or what happened but radish leaves totally ruined the flavor of the bite if an even small piece of it went into the mouth. It not that I don’t like green leaves but this one ruined it totally. Overall the dish was good in taste if had without the leaves and with cheese. 3.5/5 on taste. The cost of Rs. 575 is not the best deal but Zomato Gold made it worth.

Pollo Pesto Baked: It had pesto and white sauce with onions, mushrooms, and chicken. It was topped with baked cheese. The taste was good but not great. 3.5/5 on taste.

Sassi Classic Pizza: It had whipped cream and pork sausage. It was topped rocket and emilgrana crisps which has a very strong burnt flavor. The pork sausage was a bit chewy. Overall the taste of the pizza was very good and creamy flavor made it a bit unique. 4/5 on taste.
Overall a great experience at this restaurant and would definitely try out many more of their pizzas in the future.
