I have been seeing Sbarro outlets in various malls for years and the only time I actually tried out their pizzas was when I saw a listing of it on Zomato. I had ordered New York Pizza and another one of which I do not remember the name. Both were good pizzas.
Ever since I have looked at their menu I wanted to try out the Stromboli and ordered all 3 variants which were there on the menu.
I had Ordered from Sbarro via UberEats offer of Pizza + dessert at Rs. 149. Ordered chicken pepperoni pizza and chocolate mousse.
Chocolate mousse: good and typical.
Chicken pepperoni pizza: Bread was chewy. Sauce had hardly any flavor and so did pepperoni. 3/5 on taste.
Chicken Kebab Stromboli and Chicken Cheesy Jalapeno Stromboli: I had ordered both of these together at my office and I could not make out the difference between them from outside or even from inside as the ingredients were similar. One of them was having a lot of jalapenos and I liked it a lot. I assumed that it was the one with jalapeno in the name but when I made a second order at my home, it did not have too many of them. The taste of both was very good and I really liked it. The bread was well cooked and super soft. The taste of the bread was very similar to pav we get in Mumbai. 4.5/5 on taste.
Cheesy Jalapeno Stromboli: This was the vegetarian variant of the stromboli and it had a lot of mushrooms instead of the chicken. Also, it had American corn which gave a very prominent flavor. Overall the taste was good. 4/5 on taste.
Barbecue Chicken Pizza: The pizza base was hard and chewy. The chicken along with barbecue sauce taste was good but nothing great. 3.5/5 on taste.
Chicken Milano Pasta: It was having fusilli with bell peppers and American corn with cheese on top. The taste of the pasta was very good. Inside there were small chicken pieces which gave it a nice flavor. 4/5 on taste.
Chicken Alfredo Pasta: This one was ordered from the Prabhadevi outlet. It was dry pasta with hardly any sauce. Also, the taste was minimal. It was ordinary pasta. 2/5 on taste.
Overall an excellent experience with this place and I would update the review as I order more items in the future.
