I had tried Tao 9 before but I got a chance to try more of their varieties via their review program. I had asked to 3 items and they sent many more for review. I will review all the items below one by one.
Khow Suey: I have been a fan of Khow Suey since the 1st time I tried it. the veg version had nice vegetables and the gravy was very tasty. If had with steamed rice or noodles, it was flavorful. Condiments were given in a single box, I think they should give it a bit separately. 4/5 on taste. Recommended.
Chicken Thai Green Curry: Chicken was tender and so were the vegetables. Taste the of gravy was tasty and like a typical Thai curry. 4/5 on taste. Recommended.
Chicken Chilli Garlic Noodles: Noodles were full of flavors. Spicy and tasty. One of the better versions of noodles I have tried. 4/5 on taste.
Steamed Fish in Mushroom and Bamboo shoots: Fish was tender but I did not like the taste of the gravy much. It was not bad but not to my liking, 3/5 on taste.
Non-veg dim sum platter: It came with 2 pieces each of spicy chicken, chicken & coriander and shrimp hargao dim sum. Taste of the dim sum was not punchy like any other dim sums and the thick chutney which came along with it gave it flavors. Otherwise, I was not able to make out the taste and difference between any of them. 3.5/5 on taste.
Non-veg rice bento: It had chicken chili, spicy chicken dum sums, burnt garlic fried rice, and brownie. Chicken chili was good and burnt garlic fried rice was decent. Brownie was soft, chocolaty and flavorful. 3.5/5 on taste.
Overall a great experience with this restaurant and would definitely consider it for ordering if I want to eat Chinese in the future.
