Girgaon4: Decent Food in a Fish Market Ambiance

I was randomly looking at restaurants available on Zomato Gold page and I came across this one. It had a decent rating and I was excited by their variety of sizzlers.

I went to this restaurant one Saturday evening and it was full. The place is very small with less than 10 tables. I had to wait 20-25 mins to get a table for 3. As we sat down our ears started paining as the place was like a fish market. It was so noisy that we noticed that there was music playing only after about 15 mins when suddenly the place was silent for a few seconds. Tables are small and with a partition in between the front and back seats so you cannot even stretch your legs.

I wanted to order sizzler but the waiter said that the Zomato Gold is not available on sizzlers. This should be clearly mentioned on the menu and Zomato page of the restaurant but it was not. I ordered Paneer Patiala, tandoori roti, naan, and lasagna. Paneer Patiala took about 25 mins to come to our table. Lasagna took about 55 mins to come to the table. Service is super slow and we even had to ask the waiter to give us water and finger bowl at the end. After finishing everything I had to ask for the bill twice for them to give it to me.

Paneer Patiala: It had paneer filled in papad sheets and tossed in gravy. It was a chef specialty but there was nothing special about the taste. It was just like any other Patiala dish. Also, it was salty and not made properly. My mother and wife did not like it much either. 3.5/5 on taste.

Tandoori Roti: Not so soft or hard. Ordinary. 3.5/5 on taste.

Naan: It was on a thinner side and the taste was decent. 3.5/5 on taste.

Lasagna: It came in a bowl and it was hot. Inside there were lasagna sheets and some vegetables. The taste of the lasagna was mainly because of cheese but even the cheese taste was not prominent. Sauces were tasting good. Overall the lasagna was good but not among the best ones I have had. 3.5/5 on taste.

Overall the experience with this restaurant was ordinary and I would not prefer visiting it again.
