It has been few years since I had seen an episode of highway on my Plate in which Rockey and Mayur were eating Litti Chokha from a roadside stall. Since then I wanted to try it out and this is the first time that I saw a listing of Litti Chokha in any restaurant.

Litti Chokha: This is my first time of having Litti Chokha. It came with 3 litti and chokha in a bag. Litti were dough balls which were dark in color from outside because of cooking and soft dough inside. Also, there was a filling inside which I could not get any distinct flavor. The litti was too dry and the taste was ordinary. Chokha was like a combination of ragda from Mumbai ragda puri, batata bhaji, and baingan bhartha. The taste was very ordinary and dry. When litti was had with chokha it was tasting average and very dry. I had to remove a lot of dough from the litti to make it edible. This could be an authentic dish but I hated it. There is no way I would like to have this thing again. 2.5/5 on taste. Do not even order it to try out, rather eat puri bhaji or ragda puri or baingan bhartha. You will be happier.

Overall ordinary experience with this restaurant and I am not sure If I would like to order again from here.
