Street Foods By Punjab Grill: Good Food

I have always praised food from Punjab Grill, and seeing this new listing on Swiggy made me order something new.

Special Non-Veg Thali: It had a chicken gravy, paneer dish, dal Makhani, plain rice, 2 plain laccha paratha, raita, salad, pickle, and Gulab jamun. The chicken gravy was flavorful and tasted very good with the paratha. The Paneer dish had a few vegetables with tender paneer and the taste was good. Dal Makhani tasted great with rice. Raita was thick and good. Salad and pickle added nice flavors to the dish. Pickle was one of the great ones I have had. The quantity was sufficient for 2 moderate eaters. 4/5 on taste.

Chicken Curry Combo with Butter Naan: It came with nice chicken curry with plenty of tender chicken pieces. The butter naan was well made and went well with the chicken curry. Onions and chutney were a nice addition to the meal. 4.5/5 on taste.

Butter Chicken Combo with Rice: It was a container full of butter chicken and rice with tender pieces of chicken. I was halfway through the meal and I noticed something in the butter chicken. Initially, I thought it must be a spice but when I took it out, it was a dead spider. I felt like vomiting it out but did not. 3.5/5 on taste. 0/5 on hygiene.

Mutton Seekh Parantha Roll: The roll was wrapped in a nice and thin paratha, which was well cooked. Inside there was mutton seekh which was tender, with enough amount of oil, and excellently flavorful. The overall taste of the roll was excellent and one of the best mutton seekh Paratha rolls I have had. Its flavor and consistency were not related to ones you get at typical seekh paratha joints but it was as good if not better. It came with chutney and onions but the taste was better without them. 5/5 on taste.

Chicken Seekh Paratha Roll: The chicken seekh as well cooked and having good taste. Overall flavor was good. 4/5 on taste.

Butter Chicken Roll: There was hardly any flavor of butter chicken and the chicken was on drier side. 3/5 on taste.

Overall, a good experience with this restaurant and I will update this review as I order more items in the future.
